Colorful Victorian Gift Card Box

For this gift card box, I used a Martha Stewart Score Board to make the actual box. I'm not going to explain that whole process right now, but if you really want to know, I can email you the directions if you contact me by email. Then, for the cards and the box front, I covered the background with really pretty paper from Die Cuts With A View paper called the Cafe Mediterranean matstack. To decorate the cards and front, I used some chipboard and paper scraps that I don't really know of. The lace on the handel of the box is just a regular lace looking ribbon. I hope you enjoyed!

Decoupaged Wooden Box

For this project, I just used a box with a mirror from Michael's and painted it with green, blue, and red paint. Then, I ModPodged a paper I had around the bottom. When that dried, I put a fake lock on the front. Voila!

Savory Fruit

For this card, I used a Nana's Kitchen (bought from Jo Anne's) argyle piece for the background. For the grape, I used Color Bok paper (bought from Walmart) and cut the paper with the Cricut Lite cartridge Savory, also bought from Walmart. To ink the green piece of paper the word "savory" is on, I used a Studio G bright blue ink pad that I bought from Michael's. To honestly tell you, I don't know what the ribbon is or where I bought it. This card was simple, fun, and fast!

Welcome!

Hi! This is my blog, the crafty cuckoo. I named my blog the crafty cuckoo because sometimes I go a little cuckoo or crazy with my crafts. I am 12 and decided to make a blog to posts pictures of my crafts just like my mom. My mom's blog is http://www.bookooblessings.blogspot.com/ and was beautifully designed by Sarah Bryan at http://www.designsbysarahbryan.com/. I did my blog myself. Soon, maybe after school ends, I will get a blinkie and then you can grab it and post it to your wall! Thank you for stopping by!
